Brighton’s only Filipino restaurant, Bruha feels like a hidden gem.

The decor is invitingly dark and the menu is full of things I’d never tried before, which isn’t something I get to say very often.

A sizzling Sisig is must, along with the Kinilaw, which you can think of as a Filipino ceviche. For the more adventurous diners, try the Dinuguan – a rich and delicious dish of pork belly cooked in pig’s blood, chillies, ginger, garlic, onions vinegar and bay.
