Spenny but delicious is how I’d sum up Burnt Orange.
A special occasion kind of a place for most people, the Mediterranean & Middle-Eastern inspired small plates menu is full of strong dishes.
Start with a Wood-fired Flat Bread smothered with sesame brown butter before moving on to dishes like the exquisite Smoked Miso Aubergine, and make sure you wash everything down with plenty of Burnt Orange’s well made cocktails.
The interior is swanky, and the music is curated by Brighton’s very own Fatboy Slim.
The Burnt Orange Experience priced at £35 – £37pp is actually very good value for the amount of food, and also takes the dilemma of choosing what to order off your hands.
Quite limited but enough to snack on with a drink.
