Cheap and cheerful, Pompoko is a great option for a delicious meal for under a tenner. The fried chicken in the Tori Chilli Don (pictured) is some of the best in Brighton, and the gyoza are up there too. The best time to eat is as close to opening as possible. It can get very busy, and sometimes it shows.
Service is good and you can BYO booze for £1 corkage. On the flip side, there are better katsu curries locally and I’m not a fan of the yakisoba noodle dishes.
