Tlaloc is my favourite place for tacos in Brighton. The super friendly team serve up modern dishes, inspired by the flavours and traditions of Mexico, using local and seasonal produce from East Sussex.
Their residency at cocktail bar, The Golden Pineapple in 2020 was a perfect match but they’ve since moved to a much bigger seafront home at The Old Pier at Selina. Expect octopus tacos, lamb birria, chargrilled tiger prawns, and great cocktails. Beautiful flavours, great vibe, highly recommended.
Vegans are well catered for. Don’t miss the Ha Sikil Pak, an amazing pumpkin seed and tomato based dip. There’s always at least one plant-based taco, and dessert option too.
